Bill was born February 24, 1946 and died March 1, 2014 of cancer. He was a resident of Harrison Township. He is survived by his wife, Lois Richards Wyte, and 6 children, Heather Miller, Chantelle Truman, William Whte III, Samantha Kaeding, April Katan, Jonathon Wyte, 13 grandchildren and his sister Collette Wyte. An all round outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, boating on Lake St. Clair, swimming, diving, and water skiing. He continued to love hunting and fishing his entire life, But most of all, he was a great family man; a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and son.

Bill was a good guy. We hardly knew each other in high school but later connected at Macomb Community College. We struggled to understand econ together . He helped me feel a lot less stupid in that a pretty smart guy like him was struggling just as I was. We both got B's. Somehow we lost touch when I left for the Army.

Hi Lois...So sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I am thinking it was a hard road for both of you. I remember Bill in a lot of my classes at LCHS, always a gentleman, always soft spoken and kind. He's been a friend on my Facebook for a long time now, not much communication, but always there with his friendly face in pictures. Rest In Peace, Bill, many will miss you!
