Alice Jean "Ducky" Podoris, 61, of Harrison Township, died Friday, June 13, 2008, at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 30, 1946, in Mount Clemens.

Mrs. Podoris married Michael R. Podoris on Aug. 14, 1965, in St. Louis Catholic Church, Clinton Township. They had resided for 23 years in Washington Township and at their president address for the past 10 years. She was a member of St. Hubert Catholic Church in Harrison Township, and a former member of the Girl Scouts of America. She enjoyed quality time with family, traveling and spending time on the computer.

She is survived by her husband, Mike; children, Michael J. (Susan) Podoris of Ramona, Calif., Melanie (Bryan) Barton of Casco, Richard Podoris of Hazel Park and Stephanie (Timothy) Miszkowski of Waterford; grandchildren, Austin and Abbyann Troy, Alicia and Aaron Podoris, and Emily and Zachary Barton; siblings, Jerry Buchman, Jack Buchman, Julie Hart, Mark Buchman and Jane Buchman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
